Case study · 2024 RouteFlow Logistics

A control tower for a freight network that never sleeps

We designed and built the operations dashboard and customer-facing portal for a logistics company moving 14,000+ shipments per day across three continents.

RouteFlow operations dashboard shown on a desktop in a darkened operations room.

Three legacy tools, twelve daily calls, zero shared picture.

RouteFlow's dispatchers were running a 12-year-old desktop tool, a spreadsheet that lived on a shared drive, and a chat thread that refused to die. Every morning, three teams rebuilt the same picture of the fleet before a single truck moved.

We were asked to replace the patchwork with a single product that the operations floor, the customer support team, and the end customers could all rely on — without slowing down the people who already worked twelve-hour shifts on top of it.

The new operations console — one screen, one fleet. Replacing three legacy tools with a single shared picture of the network.

What changed for the people running the network.

Three months after launch, the morning rebuild was gone. Dispatchers opened one tab instead of three, customer-support tickets about shipment status dropped by half, and the in-house team shipped their first feature without our help.

The product continues to be extended by RouteFlow's own engineers — the design system, the data layer, and the brand were all handed over as living code, not a frozen PDF.
